Position Overview: Art Educator

Long-term Teachers Ltd is seeking a dedicated Art Educator to join our team in providing exceptional educational experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging art lessons tailored to meet the needs of diverse learners, including those with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver art instruction up to GCSE level, fostering creativity and skill development.
  • Utilize a relational approach to build strong connections with students and staff.
  • Implement trauma-informed techniques to support students with EHCPs.
  • Engage actively in the school community and contribute to a positive learning environment.
  • Adapt teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles and needs.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in teaching art at the GCSE level.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant experience in UK educational settings.
  • Ability to teach across Key Stages 3 to 5.
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs is advantageous.
  • Thorough understanding of the UK national curriculum.
  • Demonstrated patience, resilience, and a nurturing attitude.
