About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Occupational Hygienist to join our team as a SHEQ Advisor (Regional). The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring daily operations are compliant with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Onboard new employees during recruitment, delivering company induction and D&A screening.
- Ensure daily operations are compliant with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Support, advise, and monitor site working practices.
- Develop and review risk assessments and method statements.
- Identify training needs and deliver bespoke packages.
- Record actions from HSE management system audits, inspections, and safety tours.
- Collaborate with onsite HSEQ team, Operations Team, assessing and responding to site requirements.
- Be visible onsite and engaging with employees to develop a sound safety culture.
- Experienced SHEQ Advisor.
- Strong Mechanical or Scaffolding background preferred.
- Experience working in the power industry.
- Experienced and comfortable travelling to multiple sites in the North West.
- Minimum NEBOSH certificate.
- Member of IOSH or similar OHS certified body.
- Experience in the petro-chemical industry or similar.
