About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join our team at MCL Medics. As an Occupational Health Nurse, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients to achieve their statutory duties to protect and promote the health, safety, and welfare of people at work.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct workplace assessments to identify health risks and provide recommendations for improvement.
  2. Report on health risks and provide data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
  3. Perform routine health surveillance and pre-placement screenings to ensure the health and wellbeing of employees.
  4. Undertake fitness-for-work assessments and provide expert advice on workplace health and safety.
  5. Manage health records and ensure the confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
  6. Work to strict protocols and procedures set by MCL Medics and in line with SEQOHS accreditation.
Requirements
  1. RGN/RMN with prior Occupational Health Advisor experience.
  2. Current NMC Registration.
  3. Desirable: Occupational Health qualification; relevant experience considered.
  4. Proactive, friendly, and professional individuals with workload management confidence.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  6. Ability to contribute ideas and suggestions for improvements in order to achieve more effective working practices.
  7. Good understanding of Microsoft packages, and comfortable in use of OH software.
