About the Role

AWE Plc is seeking a skilled Eddy Current NDT Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) organization, you will be responsible for conducting Eddy Current inspections on warhead products, developing and implementing new techniques, and advising on capability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise customers on the most suitable NDT techniques for inspecting parts
  • Develop and implement Eddy Current techniques and work instructions
  • Support Safe Systems of Work associated with NDT activities
  • Produce or support the team with written technical assessments
  • Engage with the wider team and stakeholders to enhance inspection techniques
  • Work to company deadlines and targets
  • Continuously develop professional skills to maintain formal NDT certification

Requirements

We are looking for individuals with a thorough knowledge of Eddy Current Testing (ET) and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT). Certification as both Level 2 and Level 3 in ET is desirable, but not essential. We are interested in candidates who are subject matter experts in Eddy Current testing and are willing to learn and develop their skills.

All training will be provided, and we offer a career progression supporting NDT qualification to advance your career as a non-destructive testing professional.
