Position Overview
Are you a passionate and skilled Solutions Architect with a vision for leveraging technology to enhance services and tackle business challenges effectively?
The Architecture and Assurance Team within our Digital, Data, and Technology division is on the lookout for a Solutions Architect to join us on a full-time permanent basis. This role is pivotal in driving Digital Excellence throughout the organization. You will engage at a strategic level, providing technical governance within the Information Systems department and the broader organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and uphold architectural principles, policies, and standards, ensuring governance while addressing complex and high-stakes challenges or delivering architectural designs.
- Spearhead the technical strategy, including the cloud adoption initiative.
- Conduct industry horizon scanning to identify emerging trends and assess their potential impact and opportunities for the organization, actively seeking avenues for digital transformation.
Essential Qualifications
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrable experience.
- Experience in Solutions and/or Enterprise Architecture.
- Proven track record in designing solutions within secure networks, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards.
- Familiarity with web architectures, APIs, cloud infrastructures, SaaS, PaaS, DaaS, and database management systems as required.
- Proficient in architecture tools and utilities, such as CaseWise, MS Visio, and PowerPoint.

Salary £50,109 - £58,062
For part-time positions, the salary will be calculated on a pro-rata basis, reflecting the number of hours worked.
