Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect to join our Architecture and Assurance Team within our Digital, Data and Technology department. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering and enabling Digital Excellence across the Organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish architectural principles, policies and standards and be responsible for governance, solving complex and high-risk issues or delivering architecture design.
- Take the lead on technical strategy, including the force cloud adoption strategy.
- Carry out horizon scanning across industry, identifying emerging trends and their potential impact and opportunity for the organisation, proactively seek opportunities for digital transformation.
Requirements
- A Computer Science, Information Technology or other relevant Degree or have demonstratable work experience.
- Experience of Solutions and/or Enterprise Architecture.
- Proven experience of designing solutions within a secure network ensuring compliance to accreditation regimes.
- Familiar with web architectures, APIs, cloud infrastructure, SaaS, PaaS, DaaS, etc. and DBMS architectures, as required.
- Proficient at architecture tools & utilities, e.g. CaseWise, MS Visio, PowerPoint.

Salary
£50,109 - £58,062
For part time hours the salary will be calculated on a pro-rata basis, this is based on the number of hours for the vacancy.
