Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Homecare Support Worker to join our team. As a Homecare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients in the comfort of their own homes, promoting their well-being and ensuring they have an excellent quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and nutritional needs
  • Administer medication as required
  • Support clients with complex care needs, including dementia and mental health conditions
  • Work collaboratively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individual care plans
What We Offer
  • Flexible shifts to fit around your needs, including full-time, part-time, days, nights, and weekends
  • Minimum 2-hour call length
  • Competitive pay rates from £12.30 to £20.17 per hour, with weekly pay
  • Free training, including the Care Certificate
  • Ongoing support and development opportunities, including in-house courses and funded qualifications
  • Annual pay increase
  • Eligibility to apply for a Blue Light card, offering thousands of discounts online and on the high street
Requirements
  • Be over 18 years old
  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Have at least 6 months of UK-based care experience
  • Hold a full UK driving license (with travel expenses covered up to 50p per mile)
  • Have a good standard of English and the ability to communicate effectively
  • Hold an enhanced DBS (with the cost of £45.40 refunded after a set period of work)
