The Position
This role involves assisting the Head of Procurement Delivery in achieving established goals aligned with the procurement strategy. You will contribute to the development of opportunity assessments and collaborate with the procurement team to generate management information and data pertinent to procurement. This position will require engagement with various data sets and the creation and upkeep of reporting tools, data products, and platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Employ analytical tools and methodologies to facilitate the execution of procurement processes and projects, supporting transformation and change initiatives. Conduct research and develop market insights for categories to aid the Procurement Team. Cultivate effective relationships with stakeholders, addressing challenges as they arise. Produce procurement dashboards on a scheduled and ad-hoc basis, visualizing data and delivering analytics from all procurement tools and platforms. Oversee data management across all procurement platforms and databases. Accountable for managing assigned workstreams within multiple projects concurrently, utilizing defined methodologies. Grasp the process for conducting Opportunity Assessment Reviews and assist in their execution through activities such as detailed data analysis, stakeholder interviews, and report generation. Streamline the onboarding of suppliers and aid in the creation of new supplier profiles. Support the formulation of new processes, procedures, and solutions for the purchasing system, identifying any category-specific needs.Required Skills
Proven experience in data visualization using various techniques and methods. Highly developed Excel proficiency. Advanced analytical capabilities. Database management experience. Strong influencing skills at senior levels to promote acceptance of new operational methods. Proficient IT skills, including extensive experience with word processing and presentation software.
