Job Title: Category Manager Team Lead

This is a strategic role that requires a seasoned professional to lead the workforce category management team. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the NHS workforce and procurement landscape, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality services and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic category management plans to drive value and efficiency in the workforce category
  • Lead a team of category managers to deliver procurement and contract management services to NHS trusts
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize business needs and develop solutions to meet those needs
  • Manage and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and delivery of services
  • Develop and implement project management plans to deliver complex procurement and contract management projects
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years' experience in category management, procurement, or a related field
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality services and solutions in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and information
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
  • CIPS Level 5 Advanced Diploma or equivalent is essential
