Job Title: Lead Software Engineer (C#/.Net) – Tax & Legal Technology

Location: London based (Hybrid – 2 days per week in office)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer to join our Tax & Legal Technology Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a small team of developers and a test analyst across a variety of projects for both our clients and our internal professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of developers and a test analyst to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Design and implement architecture for distributed systems and secure products at scale.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize deliverables and focus on creating world-class solutions.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in full stack engineering using C#/.Net5+ and Angular 2+ framework.
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Build REST APIs and have experience with messaging.
  • Work with defining data models and interacting with databases.
  • Develop software that includes user-facing web applications.

Requirements:

  • Subject matter expert in full stack engineering using C#/.Net5+ and Angular 2+ framework.
  • Demonstrable experience leading engineering teams building distributed systems and secure products at scale.
  • Solid understanding of design practices, system architecture, and conducting code reviews.
  • Experience building applications for the cloud such as Azure (pref.), AWS, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of building REST APIs and experience with messaging.
  • Experience working with defining data models and interacting with databases.
  • Developed software that includes user-facing web applications.
