Cybersecurity Specialist

SiriusPoint Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled IT Security Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Information Security program, you will be responsible for contributing to the strengthening of our corporate security posture.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices, as well as experience in security event analysis, vulnerability management, and incident response. You will be expected to work closely with our Chief Information Security Officer and other technical teams to ensure the effective implementation of security solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze security events to determine root cause and advise on resolution.
- Assist in vulnerability management programs and advise on Windows and non-Windows systems patching.
- Research and monitor current cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and security advisories.
- Administer PAM tool to manage privileged access accounts.
- Perform 3rd party risk assessments on vendors and partners.
- Maintain, support, and coordinate corporate User Security Awareness Training programs.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Plan and implement security improvements and solutions to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Strong IT skills and deep understanding of cybersecurity and hacker methodology.
- Experience in malware/software analysis, vulnerabilities, and incident response.
- Experience with cybersecurity tools such as CrowdStrike, Darktrace, Rapid7, antivirus, and antimalware suites.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects/priorities.
- Ability to stay up to date with current cybersecurity regulatory landscape.
