About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Radiologist to join our team at the National Imaging Academy Wales (NIAW). As a Consultant Radiologist Trainer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality Radiology training to Radiology trainees during their session commitment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver training at the Academy, developing and delivering training sessions for Radiology trainees
  • Contribute to the leadership of training at the Academy, working collaboratively with other Consultant Trainers and Academy Management
  • Provide supervision of trainees, ensuring they receive high-quality training and support
  • Direct training, including teaching, image interpretation, and report checking

Requirements
  • MB BCh or equivalent qualification
  • Post Graduate Diploma, FRCR, MRCP
  • Experience and enthusiasm for teaching and training of Nuclear Medicine
  • Current/recent role in training
  • Ability to deliver required subspecialty training
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • Team worker and flexibility
