About the Role

Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Radiologist to join our team at the National Imaging Academy Wales (NIAW). As a Consultant Radiologist Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Radiology training to Radiology trainees during their session commitment.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Deliver training at the Academy
  • Contribute to the leadership of training at the Academy
  • Provide supervision of trainees
  • Direct training including teaching, image interpretation, and report checking

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Able to undertake duties at NHS Consultant level, including management and leadership responsibilities
  • MB BCh or equivalent
  • Post Graduate Diploma, FRCR, MRCP
  • Experience and enthusiasm for teaching and training of Nuclear Medicine
  • Current/recent role in training
  • Ability to deliver required subspecialty training

  • Interest and willingness to undertake research
  • Higher Clinical Leadership qualification
