Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement personalized learning programs that cater to the unique needs and goals of students with EHCP outcomes.
  • Lead a team of Teaching Assistants and provide guidance and support to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
  • Evaluate and assess individual programs, promoting progress and wellbeing, and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance provision and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with best practices and advancements in special education.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in special education.
  • Experience working with students with severe, profound, and multiple learning difficulties.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults.
