Premier Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Provide training and guidance to employees on health, safety, and environmental best practices
- Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
- Degree or HND qualification in a relevant field, such as quality, mechanical engineering, or a similar technical subject
- Proven experience in health, safety, and environmental practices, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential hazards
- Experience with COSHH, RIDDOR, and SEPA regulations, as well as risk management and internal/external audits
