Knowledge Exchange Manager

We are seeking an experienced Knowledge Exchange Manager to join our dynamic team in a leading role. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop and deliver initiatives to promote and support external collaborations that leverage the University's research expertise.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate knowledge exchange through contract and collaborative research, consultancy, testing services, and knowledge transfer partnerships.
- Build strong relationships with academic and external partners to identify opportunities for income generation through knowledge exchange.
- Provide support and guidance on available opportunities, proactively engaging with SMEs, third sector, community, and commercial clients to understand their needs and broker agreements to support collaborative projects.
- Secure income or grant funding through effective project management and business development skills.
- Communicate solutions in a clear and engaging way, identifying business needs and working independently and as part of a team with colleagues across the University.
- Proven experience in knowledge exchange, technology transfer, or related fields, preferably within the university sector or industry.
- Strong project management skills, with a track record of securing income or grant funding.
- Excellent communication, time management, and influencing skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A progressive, problem-solving attitude and passion for making a difference.
