About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at North Yorkshire County Council. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing person-centred care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support and care to individuals in a dignified and respectful manner
  • Assist with daily living tasks and personal care
  • Engage with individuals in a positive and supportive way
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide a high-quality service
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans
Requirements
  • Positive communication and engagement skills
  • Ability to demonstrate unconditional positive regard for individuals
  • Flexibility and ability to work a variety of shifts, including sleepovers
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive and supportive environment
