Administration Manager Primary Care Services

This is an exciting opportunity for a full-time Administration Manager to join our team at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board. As a key member of our Management Team, you will play a vital role in the delivery of services within our organisation.
Main Responsibilities- Provide support to the Management Team in the delivery of services, including planning, coordination, and organisation of the administration system.
- Line manage the Administrative Team and Medical Secretaries, ensuring the smooth running of administrative processes.
- Develop and implement office practices and procedures to ensure all non-clinical requirements are met.
- Set up, administer, and supervise the maintenance of administrative systems, including clinical and operational information.
- Train, induce, and manage administration staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Ensure the provision of a reception/front house service, handling telephone calls, correspondence, and direct contacts with clients and other internal or external agencies.
- Challenge current working practices, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring patient flow and productivity.
