Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Quality Specialist to join our team at Compare the Market. As a key member of our data governance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity, availability, and protection of our data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Conduct comprehensive data analysis for key projects, providing insights and recommendations to support business decision-making.
  • Data Governance and Quality Assurance: Monitor data governance procedures to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security. Develop and manage data catalogues to improve data discoverability and usability.
  • Data Mapping: Develop architecture diagrams that accurately represent our data landscape, including data sources, storage solutions, data flows, and integrations.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with various teams to identify and address data governance needs.
  • Project Coordination: Lead and contribute as an SME to projects related to data governance, working within tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of data governance principles, data quality frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical abilities with a proven track record of conducting data analysis and delivering actionable insights.
  • Moderate knowledge of SQL and experience with data governance tools (e.g., data catalogues, data quality management software).
