Job Description

Just Food Recruitment Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a leading food manufacturer for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their 24/7/365 factory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide maintenance cover to a factory that operates 24/7/365, serving as the primary point of contact and taking the initiative to ensure smooth operations.
  • Utilize multi-skilled knowledge and work within Health and Safety regulations to maintain and enhance the performance of plant, equipment, and buildings.
  • Offer first-class, flexible support to the business, ensuring production requirements and factory services are met at all times.
Shift Pattern:

A 4 on 4 off continental pattern, working two 12-hour day shifts (7am-7pm) followed by two 12-hour night shifts (7pm-7am), with a contractual weekly average of 42 hours per week and 24 days of annual leave.

Requirements:
  • A time-served electrical/mechanical or multi-skilled apprenticeship.
  • Recognized electrical or mechanical qualifications, with the ability to demonstrate and facilitate electrical competency tasks.
  • At least three years of maintenance experience in a production environment, post-qualification.
  • Competent electrical fault-finding and analysis skills, with the ability to read and follow electrical drawings.
  • A flexible working attitude, with the ability to work hours outside of the normal rota as required.
