We are seeking a talented Graduate Internal Sales Engineer to join their team, providing comprehensive training and opportunities for quick progression.

The Job You'll Do:

The Trainee Internal Sales Engineer will work alongside the Internal Sales Team to learn and develop skills, providing sales support to sales staff/agents, including product information, marketing tools, quotations, application engineering, and product development. Full structured training will be provided.

  • Provides information on product applications, technical assistance, pricing strategies, and competitive information to external sales.
  • Prepares competitive and compliant quotations using available software to meet client specifications or propose a suitable alternative where required.
  • Evaluates and implements product discount strategy on a project-by-project basis to meet sales and profit margin goals.
  • Follows up quotes issued for feedback from external sales and clients.
  • Uses company CRM systems in line with best practice and company policy.
  • Provide Internal Sales Supervisor a weekly report on workload.
  • Prepares and distributes literature, pricing information, technical data, and promotional material to sales offices.

About You:

We are looking for a minimum of A-Level Qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or similar (Mathematics, Physics etc.). Industry experience in a Technical Sales or Estimators role would be desirable, but not required. An understanding of Mechanical principles would be an advantage.
