We are seeking a skilled Environmental Consultant to join our team at EHS Projects. As an Environmental Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting our clients in achieving their environmental goals.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental consultancy, regulatory, or professional EHS roles. You will be responsible for undertaking audits of environmental legal compliance, conducting technical assessments of water, ground, waste, and air pollution risk, and supporting our clients to obtain permits and authorisations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the wider team of environmental, health & safety consultants and associates to deliver services across our operations.
  • Undertake audits of environmental legal compliance or other management system based scopes.
  • Conduct technical assessments of water, ground, waste, and air pollution risk.
  • Support our clients to obtain the necessary permits and authorisations.
  • Deliver on energy and carbon data analysis, accounting, and reporting projects.
  • Support our clients to develop and achieve sustainability goals.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with new and existing clients.
  • Show an ambition to grow and diversify the services that EHS Projects offer.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience (one+ years) in environmental consultancy, regulatory, or a professional EHS role.
  • Hold an Environmental, Geography, Geology, or other STEM-related degree.
  • Strong organisational, time management, and project management skills.
  • Fully proficient in Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • A clean UK driving licence.
  • Access to a car and willingness to travel (within the UK and Ireland).
Desirable Experience
  • Environmental or EHS auditing.
  • Environmental Permitting or similar authorisations.
  • Technical assessments of environmental risk.
  • Developing environmental management systems.
  • Working with energy and carbon data, or low carbon agenda projects.
