Job Description

The Finance Director will be responsible for leading the Industrial Finance team for Vermont and Simcoe Manufacturing. This role requires exceptional leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to support the business in developing and executing effective business strategies, including planning and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Industrial Finance team to drive financial performance and contribute to business growth.
  • Develop and implement cost improvement and restructuring projects to optimize financial performance.
  • Provide financial expertise and guidance on ad-hoc projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Lead and monitor cost controlling activities, including Month-End Close, Fixed Assets, and Costing.
  • Collaborate with the North American supply chain finance community to drive performance improvements and share best practices.
  • Drive change and continuous improvement in the business and finance functions.
  • Provide incisive and persuasive management performance reporting and analysis solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master's degree or CPA preferred with 5+ years of relevant finance experience.
  • Business partnering experience with clear financial assessment and guidance.
  • Prior work experience in Supply Chain Finance strongly preferred; SAP experience a plus.
  • Microsoft Office and Advanced Excel skills required.
