About The City Recruiter

The City Recruiter is seeking a skilled and experienced EC&I Designer/Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for creating technical drawings and documents essential for the successful implementation of electrical, control, and instrumentation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Block Cable Diagrams to outline electrical connections and layouts.
  • Create Single Line Diagrams depicting power distribution systems.
  • Design instrument loops and hook-ups for process control systems.
  • Produce Termination Drawings for accurate installation of electrical components.
  • Design Control System Sequence Drawings to illustrate operational sequences.
  • Develop General Arrangements for equipment and instrumentation placement.
  • Design Panel Designs for control panels and distribution boards.
  • Prepare instrument datasheets detailing specifications and requirements.
  • Develop 61508 Suite of Drawings adhering to electrical safety standards.
  • Specify EC&I systems and components.
  • Design Electrical Power Distribution systems for efficiency and safety.
  • Develop Control Systems for process automation and optimization.
  • Specify Instruments to meet functional and performance requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience in EC&I design, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) for technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, including electrical safety standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Knowledge of PLC programming and SCADA systems is a plus.
