Skin Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced dermatology nurse to join our team as a Skin Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic multidisciplinary team and contribute to the development of our skin cancer service.
Main Duties- To work as an advanced practitioner to deliver an expert nursing service for patients with non-melanoma skin cancer, early melanoma, and rare skin cancers. This will involve providing clinical and social support to patients and their families, and assisting in the development of evidence-based clinical nursing practice.
- To provide specialist skin cancer nursing advice to support high-quality, individualized care to patients and their relatives/carers. This will involve working closely with the multi-professional team, including other Skin Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialists, the Senior Nurse, and the Lead Consultant Dermatologist for Skin Cancer.
- To provide leadership and support to junior nursing members of the Skin Cancer Team.
- To undertake a diverse range of roles, including nurse-led services, and work autonomously to coordinate, develop, and deliver comprehensive care and services to patients.
- To ensure that the needs of patients are placed at the centre of care delivery.
- To ensure an efficient and well-informed pathway of care for patients in line with local and national cancer performance targets.
