Dermatology & Skin Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist

**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Dermatology team at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert nursing care to patients with skin cancer and other dermatological conditions.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with skin cancer and other dermatological conditions
* Conduct nurse-led acne clinics and systemic drug monitoring clinics, including biologics clinics
* Conduct skin education clinics for patients with chronic skin diseases, including adults and pediatrics
* Conduct photodynamic therapy clinics for patients with non-melanoma skin cancer
* Participate in skin cancer well-being events
* Support the two Skin Cancer CNS's in ensuring the Dermatology unit is compliant with skin cancer annual peer review

**Requirements**

* Degree (BSc) or equivalent in a health-related subject
* Non-medical prescribing course or working towards
* Phototherapy course (Gwent or St Thomas's) and relevant phototherapy experience
* Strong leadership skills
* Up-to-date knowledge and understanding of local and national specialist guidelines
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Ability to build rapport with patients and the multidisciplinary team

**Working Arrangements**

This post is based at Queen Mary's Hospital, Roehampton, but the post holder will be expected to travel to the trust's other sites.
