TPF Recruitment is partnering with a leading chartered accountancy firm in the region to find a skilled Tax Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will work in a medium-sized, highly successful tax team of around 15 tax professionals, providing a varied personal tax service to a range of individuals, directors, and high net worth individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of 250-300 clients, overseeing all personal tax matters and ensuring compliance with professional standards.
- Be responsible for day-to-day tax compliance affairs, including identifying and consulting with colleagues and the Tax Partner on complex technical and risk matters.
- Provide advisory and planning services across Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax, and Trusts.
- Agree fees with clients for compliance and advisory work, ensuring timely client billings and cash collection.
- Develop professional relationships with clients and within the firm.
- Support junior members of staff and review their work.
Requirements:
- ACCA / ACA / ATT or CTA qualified.
- Previous experience in personal tax compliance and planning is highly desirable.
- Solid experience working within an accountancy practice.
- Ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in Personal Tax.
- Excellent communication skills.
Benefits:
