About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physiotherapist to join our Musculoskeletal (MSK) Outpatient Physiotherapy teams at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust. As a Band 5 Physiotherapist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care to patients with musculoskeletal conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat patients with musculoskeletal conditions, including adults and some paediatric patients.
  • Supervise junior staff and students, and contribute to service development initiatives.
  • Lead classes and workshops to educate patients and staff on musculoskeletal health and management.
  • Participate in evidence-based audit and research projects to improve clinical practice.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients.

Person Specification
  • BSc or equivalent in Physiotherapy.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
  • MSK work-based training.
  • Evidence of ongoing CPD.
  • NHS experience, including Band 5 rotations in MSK Outpatients.
  • Evidence of participating in delivering training.
