We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our plant machinery.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Inspect and troubleshoot industrial shredders, granulators, conveyor belts, and other plant machinery.
  2. Perform repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  3. Carry out regular inspections to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
  4. Conduct welding activities as required.
  5. Respond to breakdowns and unplanned problems in a timely and efficient manner.
  6. Verify the functionality of safety systems.

Requirements

  1. Previous experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance.
  2. Experience in repairing mobile plant, such as forklifts.
  3. Background in HGV maintenance or vehicle maintenance (desirable).
  4. Experience in repairing conveyor belts, industrial shredders, and granulators.
  5. Basic knowledge of electrical systems (an advantage).
  6. Welding skills.
  7. Fault-finding skills.
  8. Good problem-solving abilities.
  9. Fluent English language skills.
  10. Physical fitness.
  11. UK driving license.
