Workshop Engineer Opportunity at Abbott Diabetes Care

We are seeking a skilled Workshop Engineer to join our Operations Engineering Group at our Centre of Excellence in Witney. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the machining of bespoke parts, supporting our manufacturing and projects departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Machining of bespoke parts using manual and CNC machine tools
  • Development and production of Jigs and fixtures
  • General machining of parts for bespoke equipment
  • Refurbishment of exchange units from production machines
Requirements:
  • Apprentice-trained Mechanical Engineer with strong background in machining
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and machine to close tolerances
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Proactive individual with initiative and ability to work independently or as part of a team
