We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team, responsible for securing new contracts with clients and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and engage with potential and existing clients through a combination of networking, cold calling, and targeted outreach.
- Develop and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in potential client organizations.
- Lead negotiations with clients to drive and secure new contracts, ensuring terms are favorable for both parties.
- Build new and maintain existing customer relationships.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
- Full, valid UK driving license.
- A sales professional with a background in the energy sector, preferably from an engineering or energy products background.
- An experienced negotiator in face-to-face selling with the ability to 'close the sale.'
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a high level of personal presentation.
- A mechanical or electrical engineering qualification would be ideal.
