Pay Rate: £12 per hour
Role Overview and Purpose
As a Cleaning Operative with ABM, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality cleaning services to client facilities in and around the building. Your tasks will include cleaning floors in reception areas, meeting rooms, and staff welfare areas, as well as maintaining the cleanliness of lifts, restrooms, and other areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize lifts, wipe down stainless-steel fixtures, and remove smudges from mirrors
- Clean restrooms, empty trash, and sanitize fixtures and mirrors
- Set up, stock, and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies
- Monitor and maintain sanitation and organization of assigned areas
- Assist team leaders and supervisors as needed to ensure optimal service to clients
- Perform additional duties as required, within reason
Required Skills and Experience
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to use initiative to identify and prioritize tasks
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Approachable and courteous manner
- Understanding of the need for confidentiality and discretion in an active corporate building
