Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Wienerberger België. As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our brick manufacturing factory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal performance
  • Develop and implement maintenance systems to improve efficiency and reduce downtime
  • Respond to breakdowns and perform repairs in a timely and effective manner
  • Conduct regular safety inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve factory equipment effectiveness and promote Lean principles
  • Utilize testing equipment to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Contribute to the development of safe work systems documentation and adhere to quality standards

Requirements

  • Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a focus on mechanical maintenance
  • Relevant mechanical engineering qualification or equivalent
  • Strong emphasis on safety and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
  • Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and drive chains
  • Desirable qualifications and experiences in industrial maintenance and equipment repair
