Postdoctoral Researcher (Global PK/PD and Pharmacometrics)

CK Group is seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Researcher to join their team in Bracknell, UK. This is a 12-month contract position with the potential to extend.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will play a key role in high-impact research endeavours spanning from discovery to advanced clinical development of Antibody Drug Conjugates (ADC). Key responsibilities include:

  • Establishing the appropriate dose and regimen to achieve better therapeutic index and understanding preliminary dosing requirements.
  • Developing a comprehensive and flexible framework (Clinical Utility Index) for modelling ADC PK/PD and the Exposure-Response relationship in both preclinical and clinical settings.
  • Creating a cellular mathematical model with a deep understanding of physiochemical properties, the range of affinities that are compatible with the target product profile for each ADC target, and the mechanism of action of ADC components (mAb, linker and payload and conjugated ADCs).
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A PhD in Pharmacometrics, Pharmaceutical/Biomedical Sciences, Computational Sciences, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience using relevant software such as R, Monolix, NONMEM, MATLAB, or similar.
  • Experience in QSP, PK/PD, exposure-response modeling or other modelling & simulation related discipline.
  • Understanding of pharmacokinetics and/or pharmacodynamic principles.
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting.

This role is based at our client's site in Bracknell, with a hybrid working arrangement requiring office presence two times per week.
