This exciting opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Charge Nurse to join our team, providing leadership and guidance to our nursing staff. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing care needs, evaluating care plans, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our patients.

As a clinical governance lead, you will be accountable for maintaining both clinical and staff governance, ensuring that our standards are met and exceeded. Your expertise and leadership skills will be essential in driving excellence in patient care and staff development.

This is a part-time position, and the salary will be pro-rata. As a condition of employment, you will be required to have a PVG Scheme membership/record. If you are not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group, you will need to apply to Disclosure Scotland and obtain a satisfactory result before commencing in the role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff
  • Assess care needs and evaluate care plans
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality care to patients
  • Maintain clinical and staff governance
  • Supervise and deploy staff as required
