About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team at Page Personnel. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in the production of monthly management reports, analyzing spend and comparing to budget and prior year, proposing adjustments as appropriate.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build a comprehensive understanding of financial reports and drive business growth.
  2. Review and reconcile financial transactions, including receivables and cash/bank reconciliations.
  3. Supervise the expenses and credit card reporting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  4. Maintain balance sheet reconciliations, including reviewing prepayments and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
  5. Raise payments in the online banking system, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  6. Assist with external audits and year-end closing for the group entities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  7. Correspond with external contacts, including outsourced bookkeeping functions and tax advisors, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  8. Perform other ad hoc tasks as required, supporting the finance team in achieving its goals.

Requirements

  1. Approximately 4-5 years of experience in accounting, with a strong background in financial analysis and reporting.
  2. Prior work experience within a media, marketing, PR, or communications company, with a strong understanding of the industry.
  3. Prior experience working closely with heads of departments outside of finance, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Strong Excel skills, including Macros, VBA, Vlookups, Summifs, Formulas, Pivot Tables, and other advanced functions.
  5. MUST be an ACCA or CIMA finalist, with a strong commitment to professional development and growth.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000, depending on experience.
