Job Summary:

Cobalt Health is seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our bank team. As a Paramedic (Bank), you will provide clinical support to our diagnostic radiology departments, ensuring the safe care of patients attending for diagnostic imaging and aftercare.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical interventions in emergencies, including the management of adverse reactions, anaphylaxis, and resuscitation.
  • Administer medication under Patient Group Directive guidelines as required during emergency interventions.
  • Ensure comprehensive and accurate patient records are documented on the patient administration system.
  • Monitor, assess, and treat patients who may adversely react to contrast media, interventional procedures, or who may deteriorate requiring emergency care and intervention.
  • Collaborate with radiographers, radiologists, clinical imaging assistants, and other health professionals to ensure the smooth running of scanning lists.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current substantive post in emergency services.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Up-to-date CPD portfolio.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
