Project Engineer - Marine

Unknown Resourcing is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer - Marine to join our team in Essex. As a Project Engineer - Marine, you will play a crucial role in the advancement of future Marine Hydrogen technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to projects, including BOM control and management of subcontract design and analysis activity
  • Assist in the design and analysis of systems, including component selection, system integration, and performance optimisation
  • Identify and troubleshoot technical challenges and product issues/failures observed during operation, and propose innovative solutions
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives
  • Participate in testing protocols, data collection, and validation efforts to ensure the reliability and safety of the dual fuel systems

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering
  • Strong interest & passion in decarbonisation and robust technologies that are used for harsh environments (high TRL technologies)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal, written communication skills and teamwork abilities
  • Familiarity with engineering software tools (Matlab/Simulink) and CAD design (e.g. CATIA/Solidworks) is a plus
