Role Responsibilities

The Oracle Integration Cloud Developer will play a crucial role in developing and refining integrations between Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Oracle ERP Cloud, HCM Cloud, along with external systems.

Key Duties:

  • Design and implement integrations in OIC for Oracle ERP Cloud, including REST and SOAP calls and FBDI file uploads.
  • Extract data from Oracle ERP Cloud using BI Publisher reports, analysis, and OTBI reports.
  • Develop customizations using Visual Builder and Process Builder in OIC for Oracle ERP Cloud.
  • Collect and document business requirements for IT incidents and change requests.
  • Document and manage technical specifications and software packages.
  • Ensure timely delivery of changes while managing business expectations for customer satisfaction.
  • Provide hands-on analysis, design, testing, implementation, and post-implementation support using established software design lifecycle methodologies.
  • Complete development tasks based on business requirements and industry best practices.

Candidate Profile

Essential Skills:

  • Extensive knowledge and practical experience with integration frameworks offered by OIC for connecting with Oracle Cloud SaaS (ERP, HCM) applications.
  • Ability to utilize pre-built integrations, cloud adapters, on-prem adapters, connections, and SaaS applications in solutions.
  • Experience in performance optimization, testing, and troubleshooting OIC integrations.
  • Familiarity with deployment and release management processes for Oracle OIC.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with experience in collaborating with IT and business stakeholders and drafting technical design documents.
  • Hands-on experience with XSLT.
  • Proficient in data migration/integration techniques (e.g., SOAP and REST web services, FBDI, and ADF DI).
  • Good understanding of creating custom ESS jobs.
  • Experience in developing and unit testing VBCS components and process automation using OIC.
  • Hands-on experience with BI and OTBI reports interfacing with OIC.

Desirable Skills:

  • JavaScript/Java proficiency
  • XSLT/XQuery knowledge
  • Familiarity with OAUTH 2.0, SAML 2.0, and API principles
  • Experience with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
  • Knowledge of Version Control and CI/CD practices
  • Experience in Process Automation
