Job Description

As a key member of the Global team, we are seeking a talented Advertising Producer to join our dynamic programming team in London.

This exciting role will see you working closely with our creative and dynamic team to produce and output high-quality LBC programmes, helping to decide what news stories and topics the station covers.

You will be responsible for setting up and outputting shows, researching, and generating regular, high-quality ideas for programmes, as well as working with our reporting team to plan and deliver exclusive news stories.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing creative ideas for programme content
  • Working with presenters and other producers to ensure high-quality programme content and technical standards
  • Generating new insights for programme content with confidence and flair
  • Ensuring that all programme content and technical standards are maintained to the highest level
  • Providing creative and engaging material for promos and awards when required
  • Staying up-to-date with OFCOM regulation, case history, and media law

We are looking for someone with a keen interest and knowledge of LBC, who is firm and clear in their communications, and who can work proactively towards growing the station's listening hours and reach.

As a commercial radio station, you will need to operate in a way that benefits both our listeners and our advertisers, and you will need to have excellent communication and mentor skills to assist in handling and developing on-air talent when required.
