Job Title: Cyber Security Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join our team at Consegna. As a key player in our IT department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive security roadmap, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Maintain Security Roadmap: Collaborate with our IT Manager to design and implement a security strategy that aligns with our business objectives.
- Liaise with External Partners: Work closely with our external SOC provider to mitigate security alerts and incidents, ensuring our systems and data remain secure.
- Manage M365 and Intune Environments: Collaborate with external providers to enhance security and estate posture, ensuring our Microsoft environments are secure and up-to-date.
- Implement Security Recommendations: Execute security audits and assessments, implementing recommendations to strengthen our security posture.
- Maximize E3 Applications: Develop a strategy to maximize our E3 applications, supporting our security roadmap and business objectives.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Microsoft Security Features: Continuously update your knowledge of the latest Microsoft security features and best practices.
- Communicate with Stakeholders: Effectively communicate project progress, security initiatives, and security posture to stakeholders and users.
- Provide Security Training: Offer security training and mentorship to the wider IT team on best practices and business-critical functions.
- Contribute to IT Team Development: Proactively contribute to the continuous improvement of the IT team's capabilities in supporting security objectives.
Requirements:
- Knowledge and Experience: Possess knowledge and practical experience in managing Meraki firewalls, VPNs, Microsoft Tech (such as Defender / Intune, Mail Filtering, etc.).
- Network Troubleshooting: Be proficient in network troubleshooting.
- Microsoft Ecosystem: Have a key understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem, including licensing requirements, Identity Access Management, App Registrations, User Risk Policies, Conditional Access Policies, and Intune.
- Vulnerability Assessment: Have practical experience with vulnerability assessment using Microsoft Defender or other similar tools.
- Infrastructure Design: Experience in designing and managing mission-critical infrastructure is preferred.
- Zero Trust Practices: Experience with implementing Zero Trust practices in environments.
- Risk Assessments: Awareness of Risk Assessments, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, and Incident Response.
- Industry Certifications: Knowledge of ISO27001, Cyber Essentials (CE), Cyber Essentials Plus (CE+).
