We are currently seeking a skilled Accounts Assistant to join our streamlined Finance team.
ROLE OVERVIEW
Reporting to the EMEA Client Revenue & Finance Manager based in London, this position will support four entities across the EMEA region, overseeing client billing processes and job/project codes while providing transactional assistance to the Accounts Payable function.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide high-quality financial transactional support, ensuring control and integrity within the company's accounting operations.
- Manage customer account setup and ongoing maintenance.
- Establish and maintain client job codes for accurate financial reporting.
- Conduct weekly pipeline reviews to update client invoicing schedules.
- Prepare and submit monthly client billing invoices.
- Utilize client invoicing portals and email for invoice submissions.
- Generate monthly client reports analyzing fees against time reporting.
- Offer general accounts receivable support across all entities (150+ team members).
- Perform weekly debtor balance analysis and credit control.
- Reconcile vendor statements and communicate with suppliers.
- Oversee vendor setup and maintenance, including regular reviews of supplier payment terms.
- Post vendor invoices accurately.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1-2 years of experience in accounts receivable.
- Experience in accounts payable is a plus.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics is advantageous.
- Experience handling confidential information in accordance with legal and company policies.
- Background in PR, communications, or marketing industries is highly desirable.
