Academic Mentorship Opportunity

We are seeking a Graduate Support Specialist to join our team at EdEx Education Recruitment. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a forward-thinking secondary school in Westminster, providing academic support to students.

About the Role
  • Work across your desired subject specialism, including English, Maths, Science, Humanities, and Social Sciences.
  • Carry out 1-2-1 and group interventions, focusing on raising attainment and improving student outcomes.
  • Work across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, assisting pupils inside and outside the classroom.
  • Support students with exam preparation and revision sessions.
  • Assist pupils with university applications and provide guidance on their future academic and career paths.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide whole-class support within your chosen subject specialism.
  • Run small group interventions to support students who require additional help.
  • Assist with exam preparation and revision sessions to ensure students are well-prepared for assessments.
Person Specification
  • A strong academic background, with a 1st Class or 2:1 degree from a reputable university.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and other staff members.
  • A hardworking and committed individual who is passionate about helping students achieve their full potential.
  • A strong desire to pursue a career in education, with a focus on teaching and learning.
