Job Description

Academic Mentor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Academic Mentor to join our team at an Outstanding Secondary School in Tower Hamlets. As an Academic Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic development of students and contributing to the school's mission to provide high-quality education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Run targeted interventions in groups and 1:1 for students who are struggling academically
  • Run booster sessions for students inside and outside of the classroom across various subjects
  • Support class teachers across different subjects and support students' development academically
Requirements:
  • Must have a 1st Class or 2:1 Degree from a reputable University
  • Aspiring Primary or Secondary Teacher
  • Must be willing to go above and beyond daily for the pupils
  • Confidence is key throughout these roles/School
  • Must be a team player
