Job Title: EPOS/IT Field Engineer

Concept are currently recruiting for experienced IT/EPOS engineers to assist with a printer migration project.

Job Summary

We are seeking skilled EPOS/IT field engineers to work on a contract basis, assisting with the migration of printers and providing technical support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Migrate printers to new systems
  • Update printer firmware
  • Configure printers
  • Resolve any technical issues that may arise
  • Complete sign-off and sign-out procedures
Working Hours

Saturday to Wednesday evening work, 10 hours per day, door to door including travel.

Contract start date: 14th October, with training including 1 onsite day and 1 shadowing day.

5 days' work per week per engineer, combination of onsite work and retention.

Travel will be required nationwide, engineers must have access to a reliable vehicle with business insurance and a valid MOT.

Engineers will be required to work over the Christmas period.

Requirements
  • Experienced field engineers with experience of script-based ATM/EPOS/IT project work.
  • Full UK driving license and own reliable vehicle with business insurance.
  • Standard engineering toolkit, smartphone for sign-off, PPE, etc.
  • Valid Asbestos Awareness certificate (course completed within the last 12 months) or willingness to complete certification.
Rate Details

£200 per evening shift based on a 10-hour day including travel.

£130 per evening retention shift.

Overtime more than 10 hours is paid at £20 per hour.
