Job Title: Trainee Field Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Trainee Field Engineer. As a Trainee Field Engineer, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining sensors and monitoring equipment on the Wastewater network.

Job Description:

This is a full-time permanent position that offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits. You will receive full training and certification in the role, as well as the opportunity to work with a leading company in the Water Industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Installing and maintaining sensors and monitoring equipment on the Wastewater network
  2. Driving from site to site and working outside in all weather conditions
  3. Lifting, carrying, and moving equipment and chamber covers
  4. Entry into and working within confined spaces
Requirements:
  1. Full driving licence essential
  2. No prior experience is necessary as all training will be provided for the role
  3. Previous electrical or mechanical experience of any nature an advantage
  4. Previous experience as a field engineer is useful
  5. Relevant academic qualifications an advantage e.g. BTEC Engineering or BTEC Electrical
  6. You must have a strong work ethic and a desire to learn quickly during training
  7. You will be interacting with customers/clients on a daily basis so excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
  8. Flexibility to accommodate business needs
