Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Interim In-House Legal Counsel to join our client, a leading player in the UK's transport sector. As a key member of the legal team, you will provide expert legal advice on commercial contracts and agreements, working closely with business stakeholders to negotiate, draft, and review key contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert legal advice on commercial contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to negotiate, draft, and review key contracts, ensuring effective risk management and resolution.
  • Assist with a range of litigation matters, providing practical, commercially sound legal solutions.
  • Collaborate with external legal advisers when necessary and manage legal processes efficiently.

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor with 5+ years PQE, with a strong background in commercial law and experience handling contracts and litigation.
  • Proven ability to work independently and in collaboration with various departments, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Previous in-house experience is advantageous but not essential.
