Trainee Patent Attorney - AI, Machine Learning and Computer Science

Mewburn Ellis LLP is seeking a talented Trainee Patent Attorney to join our team in the exciting field of AI, Machine Learning and Computer Science. As a Trainee Patent Attorney, you will work closely with our experienced partners to advise clients on various aspects of intellectual property law, including patent applications and prosecution.

Our team is at the forefront of innovation, working with clients from well-known companies to new start-ups and innovation leading universities. You will have the opportunity to work on pioneering projects in emerging areas such as optics and photonics, bioinformatics/digital health, quantum computing, Blockchain and extended reality.

We offer a comprehensive training programme, which includes drafting and prosecuting patent applications, advising clients on intellectual property law, and working with a range of clients from different industries. You will be well-supported to pass your exams and develop your skills as a patent attorney through our internal and external tutorials and regular feedback on your progress.
