We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our Business Support Business Team as a Debit Control Administrator. This is a diverse role that plays a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth operation of key Housing Debit Control functions.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the direct debits process, including direct debit collection and rejections.
- Ensure the accuracy of property and rent account charges for our rent accounts by working closely with New Tenancy Officers and Housing Officers.
- Coordinate Freedom of Information (FOI) requests, directing them to the correct resource and chasing responses to meet tight legislative deadlines.
- Oversee the administration of mobile devices for the directorate.
- Manage the provision of concessionary TV licenses for sheltered blocks.
- Support the Home Contents Insurance Scheme offered by PCC through AON (broker).
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed for the directorate.
- Previous experience in an administrative role.
- Strong numeracy skills for account management.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good IT skills with practical experience of spreadsheet applications, specifically Excel.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- Ability to manage and prioritize a diverse workload.
- Good communication skills and confidence in dealing with people.
- Ability to use initiative to make informed and appropriate decisions.
- Ability to learn, develop, and adapt to changing situations within the role and team, as well as driving improvements to processes.
- Good knowledge of Freedom of Information & Information Governance.
- Ability to work well within a team.
