Job Role:

Field Service Engineer

Join a rapidly expanding and innovative organisation based in the Northamptonshire area as a skilled electromechanical engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to learn, develop, and progress within the industrial cleaning machinery sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Attend breakdowns, service, and installations on industrial cleaning equipment within a 1-hour radius of your area.
  2. Use manual hand tools, electrical hand tools, lifting equipment, and hot working tools to carry out electrical, electronic, mechanical fault finding, and repairs.
  3. Manage your time effectively to ensure work is carried out to a high standard in a timely manner.
  4. Update job reports and order parts when necessary.
  5. Ensure Health & Safety Procedures are followed.
Requirements:
  1. Electrical, electrical, and/or mechanical fault finding, repair, and service experience would be advantageous.
  2. A good level of electrical or mechanical knowledge, similar roles could include plant engineer, maintenance engineer, hydraulic engineer, pneumatic engineer, mechanical fitter.
  3. Relevant qualifications NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering - not essential but would be an advantage.
  4. Experience using electrical and mechanical tools.
  5. Previous experience as a mechanical, electrical, or field-based engineer. Any experience surrounding Industrial Batteries, IC Engines, or Industrial floor cleaning would be advantageous.
  6. Full UK Drivers License.
